In this preprint, we investigate the effects of mating system and demographic history on the efficacy of purifying selection in Arabis alpina. Specifically, we contrast genomic patterns in self-incompatible outcrossing, mixed-mating and highly selfing populations, using population genomic analyses of genome resequencing data.
